Beautiful memories of our trek will never ever disappear! We had a great time in Western Sikkim, and we really enjoyed every minute of the trek. Not even bad weather could spoil things, especially since Werner has those "miracle" sticks (from Catherine), which made him walk every day without complaints! Even bad weather meant for us beautiful impressions of scenery and nature.
 
And of course Namgyal and his Dzohs must not be forgotten, the stay in the Yak-hut, as well as the friendly, ever laughing porters. We enjoyed all their company!

"Special places to stay can only be created as labors of love. It is clear that lot of love went into the vision, construction, and location of the Farmhouse. Whilst this is necessary for a great experience, it isn't sufficient. The staff must care genuinely about the guests and anticipate their needs. Peter and Sudesh did this marvelously well. The food was excellent and the stories even better. The villagers were especially wonderful. Overall an extremely relaxing and tremendously pleasant three days, after 4 months of hard travelling through Tibet, Bhutan, and India.

About Tribal Tour

"Inspired by last years visit to Sikkim, and a subsequent look into photo album at Gurudongma House, we decided on a tour of Arunachal Pradesh . Since there is little information available in Europe in Europe, we came with a vague imagination about the trip. Our expectations were more than met. The country is beautiful, the people we met are very friendly and hospitable. To have a glimpse into the different tribes and their way of life was an eye opener.
