Fly from Delhi to Leh. 04 days Buddhist sightseeing tour around Leh followed by 04 days trek from Likhir to Tingsmogang, connecting typical Ladakhi villages, and a day trip to Lamayuru and Likhir before returning to Leh. Fly out of Leh to Delhi.

Day 01 : Arrive Leh, 3606 m
Early morning flight from Delhi to Leh. Transfer to hotel and rest for the day.  

Day 02 : Leh Sightseeing
Walking to  Shanti Stupa,  and Leh bazaar. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 03 : Leh – Monastery tour 1
Day trip by jeep visiting Shey Monastery, Stok Gompa , museum, and Thiksey Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Leh

Day 04 : Leh: Monastery Tour 2
Day trip by jeep visiting Hemis Monastery and Stakna Gompa, followed by a 5 kms walk to Matho Gompa. Return to Leh by jeep. Overnight at hotel

Day 05 : Drive to Likhir and trek to Yangthang
Drive Leh to Likir. 65 kms in 1.30 hrs. Visit Likir monastery. Trek to Yangthang in 05 hrs. Phobe La, 3600m and Chagatse La, 3650m. Overnight in camp/ Village Guest House.

Day 06: Tangthang- day trek to Rizong Monastery

Trek to Rizong Monastery and back in 05 hrs. Overnight in camp / village guest house.

Day 07: Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachan

An easy 03 hours pleasant walk across the Tsermangchen La, 3750m, , to Hemis Shukpachan – a major Village named after the Cedar trees which grow there. Explore the village, and visit the beautiful Gompa.. Overnight in camp / village guest House.  

Day 08: Hemis Shukpachan to Tingsmogang

Trek for 3 hours. Steep crossing over Maptek La, 3750m, followed by descent to Ang Village and on to Tingsmogang – Perhaps the richest Valley in Ladakh. Apricots, Apples, nuts and beautiful houses. Visit a ruined fort and a small monastery up on the hill. Overnight in village guest House /camp.

Day 09: Drive Temisgam - Lamaryuru, 3390 m - Leh

Drive 40 Kms to Lamaryuru Gompa – the most famous and spectacularly set Gompa in Ladakh; it dates back to the 10 the century. Explore the Gompa and drive back to Leh. 124 Kms in 03 hrs. Overnight an hotel at Leh.

Day 10: Leh - Delhi

Transfer to Leh airport and fly to Delhi.
