07 Days Singelila Phalut Trek

Grade: Moderate
Period: Mar to May and Oct to Dec
This treks climbs steeply from the road head at Maneybhanjan, at 2134 m, for three days to reach the Sandakphu –Phalut ridge at an altitude of 3600 m. Enroute there are the lovely forests of the Singelila National Park, and the view pint of Tonglu. From Sandakphu there are breathtaking views of the Khangchendzonga Range towering over a basin of silver firs and Rhododendrons, in the foreground. In the West the peaks of the Mount Everest group are visible, whilst on the East lie the Chola Range with views of passes leading into Tibet. The trek from Sandakphu to Phalut is along the undulating 3500 m high ridge passing through meadows, forests full of wild flowers and himalayan flora, with the mighty peaks towering in the background. The descent to the road head at Rimbik through the Rammam River Valley, with its gurgling streams and diverse flowering flora is a visual delight.
Trek tour starts and ends at Darjeeling or Kalimpong
Day 01: Pick up early morning from either Kalimpong or Darjeeling and drive by jeep to Maneybhanjan 2134 m. Trek to Tumling via Tonglu, 3000 M. 06 hrs. Overnight Guest House or in camp.
Day 02: Trek through Singelila National Park to Garibas, 2621 m. 03 hrs. Overnight trekkers hut/camp.
Day 03: Trek to Sandakphu, 3636 m. 06 hrs. Overnight trekkers hut/camp.
Day 04: Trek to Phalut, 3600 m. 07 hrs. Overnight trekkers hut/camp.
Day 05: Trek down to Rammam, 2560 m. 06 hrs. Overnight trekkers hut/camp.
Day 06: Trek to Rimbik 2286 m. 06 hrs. Overnight Guest house.
Day 07: Transfer by jeep to Darjeeling in 3.30 hrs, or Kalimpong in 04.30 hrs
Pick up and drop from/to Bagdogra airport or NJP rail station can be arranged
08 days Dzongri meadows Trek

Trek through forests with abundant Himalayan flora to the Alpine Yak meadows of Dzongri. Walk upto DablaKhang, the peak from where the sikkimese worship Mount Khangchendzonga. Incredible views of of 6000 to 8000 m high peaks of the Khangchendzonga group, upland meadows, yaks, lakes and glaciers
Trek tour starts and ends at Kalimpong/Darjeeling/Gangtok/Bagdogra
Day 01: Pick up by jeep from either Bagdogra/NJP, Darjeeling, Gangtok, or Kalimpong and transfer to road head at Yoksom, 1780 m. 06 hrs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Trek to Tshokha 3050 m. 07 hrs. Overnight in Lodge/tents.
Day 03: Acclimatization trek to Phedang 3760 m, and back. 4-5 hrs. Overnight at Tshoka lodge/tents.
Day 04: Trek to Dzongri meadows 4025 m. Overnight trekkershut/tents.
Day 05: Sunrise view from Dablakhang. Trek to Thangsing, 3800 m, in Praig chu valley. O4 hrs. Overnight trekkers hut/tents.
Day 06: Trek through Praig chu valley to Tshokha , 3250 M in 04 hrs.
Day 07: Trek back to Yoksom, 1780 m in 05 hrs. Drive by jeep to Pamayangtse. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: After visit to famous Pamayangtse Monastery, transfer by jeep to Gangtok, Darjeeling, Kalimpong or Bagdogra/NJP in 05-06 hrs.

Trek through forests with abundant Himalayan flora to the Alpine Yak meadows of Dzongri. Walk upto DablaKhang, the peak from where the sikkimese worship Mount Khangchendzonga. Incredible views of of 6000 to 8000 m high peaks of the Khangchendzonga group. visiting upland meadows, yak grazing grounds, lakes and glaciers. Continue along the Praig chu valley to Goche-la pass at 5000 m, for close up views of Khangchendzonga, its glaciers and other great peaks.

Day 01: Pick up by jeep from either Bagdogra/NJP, Darjeeling, Gangtok, or Kalimpong and transfer to road head at Yoksom, 1780 m. 06 hrs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Trek to Tshokha 3050 m. 07 hrs. Overnight in Lodge/tents.
Day 03: Acclimatization trek to Phedang 3760 m, and back. 4-5 hrs. Overnight at Tshoka lodge/tents.
Day 04: Trek to Dzongri meadows 4025 m. Overnight trekkershut/tents.
Day 05: Sunrise view from Dablakhang. Trek to Omlathang, yak grazing camp, 4000 m, in Praig chu valley. O6 hrs. Overnight tents.
Day 06: Acclimatization day at Omlathang. Short walks. Overnight in tents.
Day 07: Trek to Goche-la, 5000m, and return to Thangsing, 3800 m 08 -10 hrs. Overnight in trekker's hut/tents.
Day 08: Trek steadily downhill through Praig chu valley to Tshokha , 3250 M in 04 hrs.
Day 09: Trek back to Yoksom, 1780 m in 05 hrs. Drive by jeep to Pamayangtse. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: After visit to famous Pamayangtse Monastery, transfer by jeep to Gangtok, Darjeeling, Kalimpong or Bagdogra/NJP in 05-06 hrs.
